Therefore, if you would like to have a motorbike trip or travel by trains, be smart with your itinerary, plan accordingly and make sure you do not bite more than you can chew.

2. Changeable weather

3. Learn how to haggle

In most situations, there is no fixed price in Vietnam, so you should learn how to haggle for good price. You should be friendly, respect sellers and ask they reduce price for the items you would like to buy from them. In fact, prices for things in Vietnam are cheap so if you can haggle you can save costs for your trips.

4. Hoi An is quainter than you think

Maybe, before coming to Vietnam, you heard or read about some not good information. But sadly, the people said or wrote that just know about the business side of locals, who are simply trying to make a living. When you recognize that it's just local-tourist paradigm and have open mind with others, you can have a different experience. Make an effort to communicate with people in front of you, listen to inspiring stories, smile to the school children who often say “hello” to you and meet the nice and friendly people from different places.
